POLICIES

Quality

GTL’s reputation rests on the technical accuracy, reliability and professionalism of the advice we give. This policy sets out our commitment to delivering consistently high-quality engineering and advisory services across every discipline and jurisdiction in which we work.

Our Commitments

GTL is committed to:

  • Providing engineering and advisory services that meet applicable codes, standards and contractual requirements, including relevant SNI, British and international standards.
  • Assigning suitably qualified and experienced personnel to each engagement, with appropriate chartered-level oversight where required.
  • Applying independent technical review and checking to calculations, designs and reports before issue.
  • Maintaining clear records and version control across all technical and contractual documentation.
  • Learning from errors, near misses and client feedback, and using them to improve our processes.
  • Working towards conformance with ISO 9001:2015, the international standard for quality management systems.
  • Setting measurable quality objectives, and monitoring performance and client satisfaction against them.
  • Providing employees with the training, resources and support needed to deliver work to the required standard.

Responsibilities and Review

Overall responsibility for this policy rests with the Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Technical Director. Project leads are responsible for the quality of their own deliverables and those of their teams, and every employee is expected to work in line with it. This policy is reviewed at least annually, and sooner following any significant non-conformance or change in the nature of GTL’s operations.
