ETHICAL CONDUCT
GTL’s advice is only as valuable as the integrity behind it. This policy sets out the standards of honesty, integrity and professional conduct expected of everyone who works for or represents GTL.
Our Commitments
GTL is committed to:
- Acting with honesty, integrity and professional objectivity in all technical, contractual and commercial dealings.
- Never offering, giving, soliciting or accepting bribes, or engaging in any form of corruption, in any jurisdiction in which GTL operates.
- Declaring and managing conflicts of interest openly, including in expert witness and advisory engagements.
- Safeguarding confidential client and business information, and using it only for its intended purpose.
- Competing for work fairly, and not making misleading claims about GTL’s capabilities or experience.
- Complying with the ethical and professional codes of the institutions we hold membership of, including the Institution of Civil Engineers, as well as applicable anti-bribery and competition legislation.
- Providing a confidential route for employees to raise ethical concerns without fear of reprisal.
- Treating breaches of this policy as a disciplinary matter, with serious breaches treated as gross misconduct.
Responsibilities and Review
Overall responsibility for this policy rests with the Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Technical Director. Every employee, contractor and consultant acting for GTL is expected to uphold it. This policy is reviewed at least annually.
